Artists are the important people in the process of katharsis. The world gets better by learning of others experiences and Sublimation of Existential struggles by Art in all it’s forms.
During the many years KATHARSIS have worked many Visual Artists, Musicians, Directors, Writers and Poets, Philosofers, Historians, Designers, Thinkers, Culture Supporters, Art lovers, Teachers and more art and culture producers have worked and sustained projects, events and shows in The Cultural Space Katharsis.

Finn Thybo Andersen & Kirsten Dufour. Royal Academy of Arts, Copenhagen 1970. Associate professor at sculpture in the foundation school at the Royal Academy, Cph since 1998. Works primarily with sculpture, installations. Will be in charge of the workshops for the project. Lives and work in Denmark.
Jeanette Land Schou: Royal Academy of Arts, Cph 1998. Has actively participated exhibition around the country and internationally. Co-founder of North Gallery, and PIXEL for Fast Video, Cph. Works with video and video installations. Associate professor at the Royal Academy, Cph. Works and lives in Denmark.
Mariella Brandusa: Royal Academy of Arts, Cph 1993 and National Academy of Bucharest 1990. Video artists and painter. Leader of Gallery Katharsis, Cph. Lives and works in Denmark.
Oliver Nicklin: professional musician. Works primarily with electronic sounds and compositions and film music. Have played and done shows in Denmark and internationally together with his colleague Dj Kemi. Lives and works in Denmark.
Saskia Te Nicklin: Royal Academy of Arts, Cph 2004. Works with object-painting-object, photo, animation, installation and video. Curator-assistant of the project. Lives and works in Denmark.
Johnny Jaime Friborg: audio- video composer mm. Works with different media. Multiple interesses and performances.Works and lives in Denmark.
Claudia Liekam: Fachhochschule for Arts and Design 1986. Is probably one of the first female multimedia artists using the computer as their primarily form of expression- since 1980! Works with digital photos, video, body-scans and video objects. Exhibits in Germany and internationally. Connected to collection C15 Hamburg. Lives and works in Hamburg, Germany.
Hans Braumüller: Universidad de Chile de Artes 1991, Chile. Works with i.e. mail-art, painting, photo and installation. Participates diverse projects cross the world. Exhibits and cooperates in both Germany and internationally. Lives and works in Germany.
Istvan Damo: National Art Academy of Bucharest. Works with drawings and etchings, photo and digital images. Teacher at the Kecskemet Art school. Exhibits in Hungary and internationally. Lives and works in Hungary.
Ulrich Gabor: Hungarian University for crafts and design. Finished his education at the Eötvös Lorand University for films and media culture. Works with film and video and experimental animations and drawings. Lives and works in Hungary.
Octavian Neagu: Royal Art academy, Cph, 1993 and National Art Academy Bucharest 1990. Works with new media, painting, objects and installation. Concept and leader of the project. Worked in Denmark since 1990. Collaborated with Erik A. Frandsen in Denmark and in Romania. Lives and works in Denmark.
Gheorghe Rasovszky: National Art Academy Bucharest 1977. Works with scenography and multimedia, video and film installations. Represented at the Venice Biennale 2001 at the Romanian pavilion. Exhibits frequently in Romania and internationally. Leader of the cultural programme on Romanian TV. Works and lives in Romania.
Teodor Graur: National Art Academy of Bucharest 1978. Works with performances, installations, workshops, happenings and new Medias. Represented at the Venice Biennale 2001, Istanbul Biennale 1995, and the Sao Paolo Biennale 1994. Exhibits frequently in Romania and internationally. Lives and works in Romania.
Antal Janosi: Art Academy “Ion Andreescu” in Cluj 1980. Works with painting and site-specific installations. Video-projections and sound experiments. Co-organizer of events in Miercurea Ciuc. Co-founder and owner of KO.KE.M. exhibits frequently in Romania and internationally. Lives and works in Romania.
Zsolt Berszan: University of Arts and Design, Cluj Napoca 1998. Works with painting and photo. Video and sound installations. Editor and originator of the art magazine “Atelier Deschis”. Exhibits in Romania and internationally. Lives and works in Romania.
